For successful dating, men need to know the rules of the game. By knowing the rules in advance, you should be able to improve your dating tremendously. The fact is, you will be in a position to win the woman you want. What kind of woman are you? The kind of woman you want to be with is the kind of women who is really interested in you. And this kind of women is the kind of woman you are going to be attracted to. This may sound obvious, but you have to understand that what you want is a short-term relationship and that you want it to be a happy one. Therefore, the kind of women you want on your arm should be those who is interested in you and with whom you can spend your life. Women are the same way. If you are serious about your goal of being successful in dating, then you need to understand that you have to focus on persons who is ready to spend their life with you. Consequently, the kind of women you want must be ready to give their all in terms of their relationship with you and their life.

Before you think that this is a shallow concept, let me ask you a question. Have you ever met some men or women who were not really serious with you? Maybe you were not serious with it either. There is nothing wrong with that. But the bottom line is that, sooner or later, you are going to meet someone who is serious and committed to making a relationship work. They may have a personality that does not attract you, but sooner or later, you will find that you bore the hell out of them. All right, sooner or later, you will find that out. The point is, if you are serious with it, you have to do everything you can to bring that person, who brought you here, as close as you can get to that person.

Putting things bluntly, you do not have time for anyone who is immature, clichéd, non committal, and unsure of himself /herself. If, however, you are a person who is willing to go beyond your normal “comfort zone” in order to make the effort to be committed, you are a shining example of a mature person.

Now, the most important point of all is to take care of yourself. The thing is that you do not have to be overly physically attractive, but you do have to be at your best. Self confidence is attractive. Yes, it does say a lot about who you are. Indeed, it is so true. In addition, if you want to be in a serious relationship with a woman, you need to be able to show confidence, too. Showing confidence is not the same as “acting confident.”

What I mean by “acting confident” is that, you do not have to be over the top in your appearance, but you do have to act the part of being confident. The most important thing is to be natural. Pretending to be confident is only silly in the long run. It will come back to haunt you later. Moreover, you may not be confident, but she will know if you are just faking it. Keep it real.

Mind your manners. Rudeness is unattractive. Always try to be at your best. On the other hand, avoid being stingy, rude, or haughty. These things will negatives you in the end. Remember, you will be judged by how you treat others. If you are rude to waiters, do not expect a girl to believe you are the greatest guy in the world.

Keep your chin up. Do not talk trash about others. Do not talk about your ex-girlfriend all the time, or other women will think that you are like her. It is good to have female friends, but it is not wise to constantly talk about them all. Watch what you say. There is a fine line between teasing and being insulting. Be confident in yourself, but respect others.

Try not to overdo it. This is a major turn off. Some guys need the perfect girl to get all dressed up and look good in order to impress a girl. Overdoing it can turn her off. Just be cool, dress nicely, and talk politely.
